Celebrating You......

Finally, some scappiness!  Actually, I HAVE been scrapping as often as I can--I feel wierd if I don't--I have just been super slow to post.

So, in between taking care of an amazing and beautiful newborn, here is the first project I finished:

I based this layout off of one I did last year....

I found myself a little overwhelmed with how to incorporate all of my daughter's birthday pics into one layout and then I thought of this layout featuring  a roundup of shots from a trip to my parents.

Super happy with how the new layout worked.  I got to use my stash of Pebbles Country Picnic which I really LOVE.  All of my favorite colors mixed with some kraft--scrappy heaven!

And as a totally random comment.....please notice the pic of my daughter and I in the first layout--we look nothing alike!  LOL.  Always makes me laugh when I see a pic of us together, we are very mismatched!  Am secretly hoping the new baby looks a little like me :-).

Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday!

Sledding with Daddy.....

I started out a super slow Pinner--a little overwhelmed at first by all the amazing stuff...But now I have gotten the hang of it and this is the second layout where I used Pinterest as a jumping off point.

Sledding with Daddy was a super fun layout thanks to the fun memories I captured with my camera and as I was piecing it together, I decided to try making a stitched starburst--something I had seen on a blog and Pinned.  This is the end result:

I just love this layout!  It's one I keep going back to look at.  It isn't often that when it snows, Bodie is off from work.  But this day he was!  And the first thing he did (before building a ginormous snowman) was pull, more like whip, Maleia around the backyard on the sled!  She loved it, almost as much as I loved watching them :).

The Great Outdoors....

Wow. The first of April is finally here.  Last summer when I found out I was pregnant, April sounded like a long ways away.  Now that it is here, I can not believe how fast the time went and how much my life is about to change in a little less than three weeks (hopefully).  Super excited!!

This next layout features some awesome products from Little Yellow Bicycle.  I will admit, I rarely use their line of products, but this line really jumped out at me.  With it's outdoorsy color scheme and easy to use embellies, it is a winner in my book.  I really liked the addition of ready-to-make rosettas and flowers.  Super easy and quick.

Really love this pic of Leia--she looks so grown up with the pigtails!  Love, Love!!

Well, am off to convince my husband to pick up a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup for me when he goes to Blockbuster!  LOL.

Hope everyone had a lovely day today!
